On December 10, 2024, Trending Medical Technology Pty Ltd’s General Manager, Ms. Qiaoling Chen, and Biological Research and Development Manager, Ms. Yaoyao Jia, visited Yulong Investment, one of the world’s leading Thoroughbred Racing and Breeding operations, located in Victoria, Australia. They were joined by Mr. Nick, Investment Director of the Victorian Investment and Trade Bureau, and Mr. Yuan-Sheng Pan, Manager of China Southern Airlines’ Melbourne branch.
Yulong Investment, founded by Mr. Yuesheng Zhang, spans over 3,500 acres in Victoria. The company also operates a 3,000-acre breeding farm and equestrian school in China, contributing to the global development of the horse racing industry.
The visit highlighted the state-of-the-art facilities at Yulong Investment, including modern stables, horse walkers, and advanced yearling preparation areas. The farm currently houses over 800 adult horses and 400 foals, with horses bred at Yulong participating in top international races and achieving outstanding results.
During the visit, the Trending Medical Technology team introduced their advanced equine health testing products. Ms. Chen emphasized the company’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that support the health and well-being of racehorses. The discussion focused on the growing need for testing solutions in the horse racing industry, with particular interest in the detection of pathogens, such as Salmonella, that can affect foal health. Both parties expressed strong interest in future collaboration to further advance equine health.
This visit marks an important step in establishing a partnership with Yulong Investment, as both companies share a commitment to improving the health and performance of thoroughbred horses.
